Overview

An out-and-out very well sorted classic race car, it is eligible for most classic series in the UK and Europe.

Everything is up to the mark, extinguisher, etc have all been recently replaced.

Two sets of refurbished minitite wheels and some spares are included.

Recent rolling road read outs show 174 horse power, it sounds beautiful at full chat!

First registered 31.12.1964 this car provides the best of all worlds, being supplied with a V5 enabling road/rally use plus its history shows it to be a very competitive race car.

The engine bay stamp, with original matching vin and type 125E showing it to be an original 1964 Lotus Cortina Mk1.

The engine is strong, well set up with bullet gearbox and the body work is lightweight with plexiglass (other than the heated laminated screen) and drilled out parts where possible.

The car comes with a full history file and accompanied by current FiA/HTP papers.

The red and gold livery is a nod to the ex Alan Mann engineer, who was responsible for the building programme for this car. If you want to race classics, do give this car a viewing...!
